WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
-
Ensure Latin America financials are following US GAAP standards and SOX Compliance guidelines
-
Reconciliation of Latin America event P&Ls and Show Settlements
-
Assist locals and SA team with Corporate Reporting – Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation to Third Party Latin America Systems
-
Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
-
Prepare and enter month-end journal entries
-
Maintain internal control policies, assist in audits, and liaise with internal auditors.

Maintain, control, and reconcile complex accounts.
-
Assist with quarterly reporting and special projects as assigned.
-
Maintains and Reconciles Monthly Eliminations of IFRS adjustments.
-
Position primarily office-based, may require travel to events and working evenings plus occasional weekends for month-end close and show settlements.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
-
Master’s degree in accounting, CPA or CPA candidate
-
3-5 years of accounting experience – preferably Big 4 (Audit & Entertainment Experience a Plus)
-
SOX and US GAAP experience
-
Highly desirable
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Project Management Experience
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects.

Strong analytical skills and organization skills
-
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
-
Oracle and SAP experience is a plus
-
Bilingual Spanish required
-
Bilingual Portuguese preferred
