THE JOB
Live Nation is seeking a National Sustainability Coordinator to support with administrative, analytical, and resource development support across our U.S. amphitheater portfolio. Under the guidance of the Sustainability Operations Manager, this role supports multiple areas of the sustainability program and requires flexibility to work across different priorities as needs evolve. Key tasks include: updating and evolving training resources and presentation decks, monitoring data and performance across venues and summarizing insights, coordinating special projects across teams and departments, and conducting periodic venue site visits to support operations and identify areas of improvement. While a priority focus area for this role is to support and expand on activities related to material circularity targets (e.g., waste reduction, reuse, and efficiency) this role may also support other sustainability objectives.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOResource Development:

Coordinate venue resources including training toolkits/resources and orientation decks.

Coordinate venue onboarding for new and returning personnel.
-
Support the implementation of cross-department programming, such as partnerships with Food & Beverage, procurement, and analytics.
-
Work with creative teams to update venue communications assets including signage, digital communications, and functional sustainability touchpoints.

Maintain and update the Venue Sustainability Share Point Hub, including resource updates, uploading meeting recordings/notes, and general upkeep.

Maintain and organize the team’s internal Share Point folder structure.
Data Reporting & Analysis Support:
-
Monitor venue sustainability performance through internal dashboards, flagging gaps, identifying discrepancies, and discovering actionable insights in data.

Support internal management by coordinating new data integrations, including the integration of traditional cross-department data into sustainability dashboards.

Summarize venue analytics into clear and visual mid-season and post-season reports for leadership to understand areas for improvement.

Monitor environmental mandates and legislation that may affect venue markets.
-
Summarize fan, crew, and other survey data and responses from venues to identify trends and insights.
Venue Operational Support:
-
Serve as the internal point of contact for team scheduling, notetaking, attendance reports, and action items/follow-ups during internal, leadership, and venue meetings.

Help maintain and grow a centralized resource repository to help venues best-practice share.

On occasion, step in to support venue crews during marquee or high-visibility venue productions.
Design, Innovation, and Storytelling
-
Identify common portfolio challenges and opportunities for improvement by researching new best-in-class tools, processes, tracking mechanisms, and technologies.
-
Help coordinate the successful implementation of new programming, innovation/technologies, and special projects.
-
Assist in the implementation of high-visibility crew and artist engagements across multiple regions.
-
Research and coordinate submissions to third-party recognition systems.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
-
At least 2 years in one of the following: operations/event coordination, event or campus sustainability/zero waste events.
-
Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: data and analytics, supply chain and waste systems, marketing and communications, built environment, energy systems and policy, NGO and community partnerships, climate resiliency.

Comprehensive understanding of technical environmental concepts and their unique impacts on the live music and entertainment industry.
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to analyze large datasets in Excel, and effectively communicate insights through visually engaging reports and presentations in Word and PowerPoint.
-
Proficient in using Share Point, Google Drive, Asana, Airtable, and Tableau for program management and organization, leveraging these tools to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.

Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to adjust to changing demands and determine when to work quickly or meticulously based on the project needs.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in completing tasks.
-
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to various stakeholders (peers, venue staff, leadership) to ensure clarity and collaboration.

Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.

A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

Ability to travel, including weekends.
