Job Responsibilities

The Production Planning Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for the design and implementation of an SAP-integrated production planning model using standard functionalities of SAP (no custom solutions). being the key duties and responsibilities the following:

• Identify the data improvements/changes to be implemented

• Identify the business processes improvements/changes to be implemented

• Quantify the expected return/outcome of the business processes improvements/changes

• Develop and track business processes improvements/changes scorecard

• Manage the implementation of the improvements/changes identified: design, plan, implement and perform post-implementation assessment

• Work in close coordination with the other areas Subject Matter Experts and the ICT Business Partner Team to ensure that the solutions implemented are aligned with business expectations/ direction/strategy and to configure and optimize SAP PP and related modules

To ensure the realization of all of that within the ERP implementation project, the Production Planning Matter Expert will also be the responsibilities of the following:

• Lead and document the blueprinting phase of the processes

• Coordinate master data cleansing and loading

• Develop list of business integration testing scenarios

• Participate in the integration testing phase being the responsible, along with the end users to validate the results for the affected area business processes

• Develop training materials that would include not just system user manuals but encapsulated within the overall business processes

• Deliver training to users and to key stakeholders

• Provide business area support for go-live and post go-live

Job Requirements

• Proven 3-5 year experience in the same position; Or as SAP consultant on production planning; or in production planning position itself (PP, PP-PI, MRP).

• Deep knowledge of SAP standard functionalities (customization avoidance mindset).

• AI tools knowledge would be a plus

• Fluency in English

• Ability to travel up to 30%

• Strong understanding of integrated processes across SAP (MM, IBP/APO, Demand Planning).

• Experience with capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and constraint-based planning.

• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP-standard solutions.

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
