Role Overview

We are seeking an Intern to join our SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) development team. The intern will work closely with senior developers and architects to build cloud-native applications using SAP's latest technologies such as CAP, SAP UI5, SAP HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite(basic). This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience with enterprise-grade cloud development and modern SAP ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma).
Develop backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) in Node.js or Java.
Build front-end UI using SAP UI5 / Fiori Elements framework.
Configure and consume SAP BTP services including Destinations, XSUAA, HANA Cloud, and other platform services.
Participate in application deployment, testing, and troubleshooting on SAP Cloud Foundry.
Collaborate with the team in code reviews, feature enhancements, and bug fixing.
Support integration tasks using REST APIs, OData, and SAP Integration Suite (basic exposure).
Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for secure and maintainable development.
Learn SAP BTP architecture, tools, and CI/CD processes through guided mentorship.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background
• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics / Related technical disciplines.

Technical Skills:

• Basic programming skills in JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, Java, or SQL.

• Understanding of cloud concepts (SaaS / PaaS).

• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).

• Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version control systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP UI5, or CAP.
• Experience with Postman, Business Application Studio (BAS), or any cloud development tools.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs, or integration concepts.
