A/V Field Services Coordinator at Life Time

Position Summary
This role provides advanced technical support to a variety of technical situations within the enterprise. The role of A/V Field Services Coordinator involves design, implementation, and support of new and existing A/V systems at new facility openings, and all existing facilities. The A/V Field Services Coordinator will work with our A/V service contractors in the field to assist with troubleshooting, installations, and repairs as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Interacts with the Service Desk, construction team, management teams, end-users, development groups, and service providers to address issues escalating beyond A/V Level 1 Support
- Provides support-centric subject matter expertise on A/V systems, including DirecTV, SMATV, Digital Signage, 70V, and 8ohm audio systems, and microphone systems
- Provides complex technical installation support to field technicians
- Reviews AV system installations for operational quality and ensure systems are functioning as designed and meet Life Time specifications and expectations
- Coordinates the implementation of enterprise hardware and software systems including planning, purchasing, installation, training, troubleshooting, and repair
- Works with internal teams and external service providers to troubleshoot solve A/V issues on site
- Creates support documentation for A/V systems including asset records, signal flow diagrams, rack-layouts, troubleshooting processes & work flows, and room designs
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 years of experience in the Audio / Visual industry
- Infocomm (CTS-D) – and or 5 years of experience
- Infocomm (CTS-I) – and or 5 years of experience
- Ability to read and distinguish architectural blueprints
- Self-motivated leader that can work independently on projects and tasks, as well as a team player working towards a common goal
- Ability to train cross functional teams in support procedures to deliver on service standards
- Flexible schedule (evening and weekend availability if necessary) and possible travel to different Life Time locations
Pay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $26.00 and pays up to $34.50, based on experience and qualifications.
