About the role

Develop a deep understanding of the underwriting appetite and business strategy across all GRS segments and effectively articulate and represent these in the marketplace. Foster mutually beneficial relationships with strategic broker partners in the assigned region to drive profitable growth. Lead the development and execution of broker-facing marketing and communication plans, including events and targeted outreach. Structure and lead product enablement initiatives aligned to regional growth strategies and market opportunities. Prospect and cultivate new broker relationships, identifying additional areas of opportunity. Align with overall GRS strategy; collaborate with peers, business partners, and the Regional Distribution Executive to support direct written premium, new business, submission activity, and retention goals. Champion internal collaboration, promoting an environment focused on shared GRS success. Maintain strong relationships with business leaders and underwriting teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and visibility into risks and opportunities for executive leadership. Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelors' degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) and a minimum of 10 years' experience in business, engineering, technology and/or consulting. Master's degree preferred. High level of proven business expertise needed to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts. Technical proficiency required to oversee quarterly & sprint planning and to have an informed, independent voice. Strong influencing skills to be seen as the decision maker when interfacing with business, and willingness to dissent with both teams and business. Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders through strong leadership skills Ability to coach and inspire both direct reports and matrix teams. Comfortable with making decisions with some level of uncertainty in a fast-paced working environment Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to convey information clearly and concisely
