Reinsurance Technology Director

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline. Minimum 10+ years of Technology related experience, engineering experience preferred Minimum 5+ years in leadership role. Minimum 5+ years' technical experience leading projects and portfolio management Creates a compelling and flexible implementation roadmap with input from several key partners. Operate as a subject matter expert for Finance Systems in the portfolio, be a point of contact for integration with upstream and downstream processes. Manage financial and regulatory complexities. Ensure adherence to enterprise design, technical architecture, standards, audit and change management. Manage projects including resource allocations, financials/budgets, work plans, issue & risk management, and status reporting. Dynamic leader who can energize multi-disciplined work teams to develop and execute strategies based on current and anticipated needs. Provides direction in resolving conflicts, as well as coaching poor performers to improved levels of performance. In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities. In-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies. Advanced knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques. Ability to promote a team environment consisting of several teams Knowledge of Financial concepts and the insurance industry, including familiarity with Premium & Losses and managing risk. Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills. Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
