Our vertical market consultant team aids our Government sales team by building strong relationships with targeted new and existing customers and maximizing the benefit these agencies get from adopting our solutions.

Clients entrust Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions worldwide to address complex challenges around reducing fraud, waste and abuse, and in this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance our visibility and brand awareness within Government entities while simultaneously driving revenue through strategic business development activities.

This pivotal role is specifically designed to drive revenue and brand awareness for Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions, and in particular, solutions focused on reducing Fraud, Waste and Abuse solutions within the Government market. As the subject matter expert in program integrity, you will play a leading role in establishing and promoting our brand in this critical market.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Messaging Development and Revenue Generation:

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and other stakeholders to craft and execute a targeted messaging strategy tailored to the unique dynamics of the Government market.

  • Develop compelling positioning documents and strategic narratives to elevate the visibility of Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions solutions which help programs fight fraud, reduce waste and fight abuse.

  • Drive revenue through proactive business development activities, working closely with sales teams to establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders within targeted Government agencies and programs. Create impactful presentations, collateral, and engagement plans to support sales efforts.

  • Customer Engagement:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within Government entities, including executive staff of agencies and influential industry groups. Collaborate closely with industry associations and executive decision-makers to gain insights into the specific requirements and challenges faced by Government agencies.

  • Industry Representation:

  • Function as the key representative of our brand at relevant conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events within the State and Local Government market.

  • Innovative Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Leaders and cross-functional teams to develop creative campaigns and materials that resonate with Government audiences, enhancing brand awareness and positioning Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions as a leader in the field.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic and knowledgeable professional to lead impactful initiatives in creating brand awareness for Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions capabilities and services that support program integrity within the Government market while simultaneously driving revenue through strategic business development activities.

Requirements:

Government Market Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of proven success in the government market, with experience in program integrity functions such as Medicaid/CHIP (including MCO/managed care oversight), SNAP, TANF, Unemployment Insurance, Child Care, WIC, General Assistance, State Tax/Revenue, Workers’ Comp (where applicable), and other benefit programs.

  • Strong knowledge of the Government sector, including its specific regulatory and operational dynamics.

Business Development and Revenue Generation:

  • Experience collaborating with teams to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.

  • For candidates transitioning directly from government roles: Showcase ability to adapt government knowledge into revenue-generating strategies.

Customer Engagement Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and nurture connections with key stakeholders in Government entities.

  • Ability to collaborate with industry associations and executive decision-makers to understand specific requirements and challenges faced by government agencies.

Industry Representation:

  • Previous experience as a representative at conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events.

  • Proven ability to effectively represent the brand and establish a strong presence within the Government market.

  • For candidates transitioning directly from government roles: Highlight the capacity to quickly become an effective advocate, leveraging government expertise.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to create impactful presentations, collateral, and engagement plans to support sales efforts.

Travel:

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 50%, including: attendance at relevant conferences, industry events, and client meetings, to effectively represent Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions and cultivate relationships within the Government market.

Position may be required to have security clearance.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $108,400 - $201,500. Total Target Cash Range: $166,800 - $309,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
