About the Role
We are looking for a Sr Director of Product Management, Digital Engagement to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of engagement driving experiences across the Lending Club app and member ecosystem (across web and mobile).
This leader will define and advance our vision for banking that clears the way for people to achieve more through digital-first products that are fast, simple, and help them take action on their own terms.
Capabilities in this domain may include:
- Account aggregation and linking
- Transaction insights and notifications
- Credit monitoring and awareness
- Personalized financial guidance and recommendations
- Tools that help members understand, manage, and improve their financial lives
- Communication strategies that encourage ongoing engagement with these tools

Success in this role is measured by customer engagement, behavioral activation, and long-term relationship value.
You will guide a product organization focused on learning, experimentation, customer-centric design, and measurable impact.
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Business, Marketing, and Credit and Risk partners to build experiences that materially improve financial health and deepen member engagement within a regulated financial environment.
While this is a senior leadership role, we are looking for a builder leader who stays close to the product. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between strategy and execution. This includes shaping long term vision while also diving into product details, reviewing designs, defining experiments, or prototyping ideas when helpful.
The strongest candidates will have experience building products across multiple stages of maturity. This includes early exploration (0 to 1), growth and scaling (1 to 10), and large-scale products used by millions of customers. We are also looking for someone who is actively engaged with AI tools and has a POV on how to leverage AI in product development.

- Build a culture of rapid learning and evidence-based product decisions

- Influence platform investments that support personalization, experimentation, and scalable engagement services
Execution with Accountability
- Deliver product experiences that measurably improve activation, weekly/monthly engagement, financial health outcomes, and retention
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design to balance speed, quality, scalability, and compliance requirements
- Ensure teams use behavioral, business, and product metrics to continuously improve product experiences

- Lead, hire, and develop a high performing product team focused on digital engagement
- Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and customer advocacy
- Develop product leaders who think strategically, execute effectively, and collaborate across functions

- Serve as the product leader for Digital Engagement across the company
- Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Design, Data, Credit and Risk, and Marketing
- Communicate product vision, progress, and insights clearly to senior and executive stakeholders
- Influence cross-functional priorities that support mobile first engagement and personalized financial experiences
About You
- 12+ years of product management experience, including 8+ years in people management
- Experience building consumer technology products that drive engagement, habit formation, or recurring usage
- Strong background in fintech, financial services, or similarly complex and regulated environments
- Experience building products across multiple stages of maturity. This includes 0 to 1 exploration, growth and scaling, and products used by millions
- Comfortable operating both strategically and hands on with product teams. This includes shaping specs, reviewing designs, and guiding experiments when needed
- Experience working with financial data, aggregation platforms such as Plaid, Finicity, or MX, or similar ecosystems is a strong plus
- Active engagement with AI tools, especially as it relates to product development.
- Excellent communicator who can align teams and influence senior leaders with clarity and credibility
