About the Role

Lending Club is looking for a Sr Creative Strategy Associate to join our Brand and Creative Strategy team and support cross channel marketing and creative initiatives This role will collaborate with both internal and external creative resources and cross functional teams to develop impactful marketing campaigns that highlight Lending Club's products and services across multiple channels.

As a key contributor to our team, you will play an integral role in driving the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing issuance and engaging and supporting our members. You will have a dynamic role that balances strategy creation—such as competitive analysis, brief writing, and identifying testing hypotheses—with hands-on execution, including managing creative development, launching campaigns, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct competitive analysis within and outside the industry to refine and provide direction to our marketing strategy
  • Craft creative briefs to support our always-on marketing calendar, ensuring all content aligns with business objectives and brand voice
  • Lead creative development projects, managing the stakeholder review process, including legal and compliance reviews and approvals, and preparing assets for successful launch
  • Build a comprehensive learnings library that documents campaign results, insights, and content performance for future reference
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, etc.) to create efficiency and automation to the creative workflow where applicable
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing analytics, operations, agencies, legal, compliance, and product strategy, to ensure seamless campaign execution

About You

  • 2+ years of experience within a marketing team, or agency in an account management or planning function
  • Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to think strategically and adjust quickly to changing business priorities
  • Skilled at working with stakeholders to ensure timely, error-free creative launches across marketing channels.
  • Proficient with various AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, etc.)
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying key partners and resources to maintain momentum on projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries is a plus

Work Location

San Francisco

The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. Lending Club offers relocation, based on actual job level.

Time Zone Requirements

Primarily PT

While the position will primarily work local hours, Lending Club is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.

Travel Requirements

As needed travel to Lending Club offices and/or other locations, as needed.

Compensation

The target base salary range for this position is 87,000-103,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of Lending Club’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
