We are looking for an analytical and collaborative Associate Insurance Product Manager to help ensure the profitable growth and delightful experience of Lemonade Car.

You will join the Insurance Product team at a critical time as we scale our car insurance offering, working closely with actuarial and underwriting experts to shape our coverage, pricing, and overall product roadmap. Your work is central to making insurance fast, simple, and profitable.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you'll

  • Develop new and innovative car products to meet the needs of new and emerging customer segments

  • Partner with our expert Actuarial and Underwriting teams to define coverage, pricing, and eligibility requirements for Lemonade Car

  • Own the execution and regulatory lifecycle for key product initiatives (e.g., rate changes, new features) from concept through production launch

  • Proactively monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending data-driven actions to ensure the profitable scaling of the car business

  • Research the competitive landscape and market trends to ensure Lemonade Car remains best-in-class and attractive to new customers

  • Collaborate closely with Insurance Operations, Engineering, and Data teams to bring product changes to market with speed and quality

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, with at least 2 years in personal lines product management

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Insurance, or a related analytical field

  • Demonstrated success in product management within a highly analytical and regulated environment

  • Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with independently working on and completing analysis on large data sets

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a methodical, data-informed approach to decision-making

  • Deep experience in car insurance is strongly preferred (a plus)

  • Technical skills with SQL, including experience building reports and dashboards, a plus

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
