The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support various WAN and LAN networks.

Will provide incident resolution, routing changes, firewall changes; act as subject matter expert in WAN and LAN technologies; support intra- and inter- net and other data communications systems or segments of networked system.

The job duties of the Tier II Network Technician are as follows:The Tier 2 Nework Technician will support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.

Respond to and resolve incident tickets Draft and implement standard network change requests Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), and coordinate and install new equipment)Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventory Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.

Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Port Security, and Thin Configurations)Perform COMSEC custodian duties, ensuring the proper handling, storage, and safeguarding of cryptographic materials in compliance with U.S.

Government Polices.

Maintain accountability and inventory control of COMSEC equipment, keying material, and related documentation.

Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of encryption devices, including TACLANEs and other secure communication equipment.

Support network security operations, ensuring COMSEC integration aligns with overall cybersecurity requirements.

RequirementsTS SCI with Poly Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.

This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master’s and 10 years, bachelor’s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years.
