Join us and make a difference in National Security!This opportunity is eligible for a 25K sign on bonus!Job Description: Leidos is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. This position supports a team providing software development services for an organization responsible for disseminating data to customers across the Intelligence Community.

Following an initial 6–8 week onboarding period, this role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with up to 50% remote work. One in-office day (Wednesday) is required; the remaining schedule is flexible.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
• Performing User Interface testing against requirements
• Identifying data to be used during testing
• Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
• Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
• Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
• Experience in testing for accessibility
• Defining test strategies for future capabilities
• Managing project artifacts
• Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without Masters Degrees will be considered on a case by case basis.
• Twelve or more years’ directly related technical experience
• Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
• Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
• GIT
• Linux
• Putty
