Your New Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Operations Service Delivery Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure seamless delivery to our Customer. In this role, you’ll manage operational performance, uphold service levels, and coordinate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reporting. Your responsibilities will also include staff management, performance management, active engagement and oversight of ongoing projects, and maintaining strong relationships for operational success.

The ideal candidate will possess technical understanding of AIX, Unix, Midrange systems, Middleware, Data Centre networks, and mainframe environments. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing a dynamic team, assigning staff resources to both projects and BAU (Business as Usual), and ensuring our services consistently meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day technical operations and service delivery

  • Monitor performance, service levels, and prepare regular reports

  • Lead, resource, and develop operations team staff

  • Assign staff to projects and BAU tasks while overseeing active project delivery and quality

  • Maintain strong staff performance and ongoing delivery excellence for customers

About You and What You'll Bring

  • Understanding of AIX, Unix, Midrange, Middleware, Data Centre networks and mainframe

  • Proven track record in technical operations and service delivery

  • Strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills

  • Experience in reporting, staff resourcing, and overseeing multiple active projects

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum Baseline level security clearance.
