About the role
The Intel Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Program Manager to support an Intelligence Community program in the National Capital Region (Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your leadership, program management, and intelligence mission experience in support of critical national security objectives.
In this mission, Leidos provides program management and analytic support that enhances global situational awareness and strategic intelligence production. Our team supports intelligence production, regional security assessments, infrastructure and logistics analysis, and cyber/C4I analytic efforts that inform national leadership decision-making.
The Senior Program Manager will oversee operational execution across program activities, ensuring program schedules are met, resources are utilized effectively, and mission requirements are delivered on time and within scope. This role requires strong leadership, coordination across multiple stakeholders, and experience managing complex programs within the Intelligence Community or Department of War environments.
Location: Washington DC Customer Site with some travel.
Primary Responsibilities:

Manage program operations to ensure intelligence production schedules and mission milestones are met.

Oversee program cost, schedule, performance, and risk identification and mitigation activities.

Coordinate and resolve production-related issues affecting mission execution.

Ensure effective utilization of personnel, analytic tools, systems, and program resources.

Identify operational challenges and knowledge management issues affecting analytic operations and recommend improvements.

Develop and implement new or innovative research approaches that support rigorous intelligence assessments.

Provide leadership and guidance to program teams to ensure successful execution of mission objectives. Direct reports possible - 10+

Prepare program documentation, reports, and briefings for government stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 12+ years of relevant experience in program management, intelligence analysis, or mission support. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree in accordance with corporate equivalency guidelines.

Demonstrated experience managing complex programs involving cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.

Experience supporting intelligence or defense-related missions within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of War (DOW).

Demonstrated knowledge of intelligence analytic methodologies and tradecraft.

Experience coordinating activities across multiple organizations or stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing briefings and analytic reports.
Required Security Clearance:
Must possess an active and in-scope TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance eligibility for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in intelligence studies, national security, international relations, political science, or a related field.

17+ years of relevant experience supporting intelligence or defense missions.

Experience producing finished intelligence products.

Experience managing multi-disciplinary intelligence or analytic teams.

Familiarity with Intelligence Community analytic standards and tradecraft evaluation processes.

Project management certification such as PMP or equivalent.

Experience leading large Defense Intelligence analysis programs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
