Your New Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking Business Analysis professionals across Business Process and Business Systems disciplines to support a program delivering capability in a classified environment.

The program delivers new capability by building on and integrating existing systems and processes, applying a reuse - buy - build approach to achieve operational outcomes while managing risk, schedule and security constraints. Business Analysis plays a critical role in ensuring business needs are met while leveraging existing capability wherever possible.

The Business Analysis team operates under the direction of the Program Manager, with day-to-day leadership provided by the Senior Business Systems Analyst, and works closely with business, technical and security stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document existing business processes to form the foundation of delivered capability.

• Support the design of future‑state (to‑be) processes enabling integration of reused, purchased and newly built solutions.

• Engage stakeholders to understand operational workflows, decision points and constraints in a classified environment.

• Identify opportunities for process reuse or adaptation and analyse business and operational needs to support reuse, buy or build solutions.

• Document functional and non‑functional requirements, support traceability across business needs and system capabilities, and work with technical specialists within an agreed architecture and delivery approach.

About You and What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting complex ICT or digital delivery in regulated or security‑conscious environments.

• Ability to analyse and document existing processes and systems, including as‑is / to‑be process analysis, to support future capability.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical audiences, with comfort working under direction in complex operational environments.

• Experience supporting integrated or multi‑component solutions across on‑premise and/or cloud environments, with awareness of security considerations.

• Exposure to systems analysis across commercial (COTS), customised and bespoke systems, with ability to identify process reuse or adaptation opportunities and work within defined scope and delivery priorities.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum TSPV level security clearance.
