Your New Role and Responsibilities

Our Airborne Solutions business operates the world’s largest outsourced surveillance operation and delivers search-and-rescue capability across nearly 10 per cent of the earth’s surface. We currently have an Adelaide-based opportunity for a Procurement Officer, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and Logistics.

In this role, you will manage the procurement and repair of aeronautical products to effectively support our Surveillance and Search and Rescue operations. This is an opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic business delivering innovative solutions across our government aviation contracts.

• Carry out supply chain activities in accordance with approved procedures.

• Monitor and manage defect, planning and stock material requisitions through to delivery, including expediting orders with suppliers and freight partners to maximise material availability.

• Undertake procurement activities for aeronautical and commercial products, including repair control and assessment of unserviceable aeronautical products.

• Monitor and manage supplier delivery performance, including quality and cost control.

• Communicate supply details to key stakeholders, and review and action Goods Inward Rejections and invoice queries, as well as other duties as requested.

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact

• Previous purchasing and material control experience, including experience using an ERP-system.

• Demonstrated experience with quality control practices.

• Proactive, driven and assertive, with strong organisation and time management skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, reporting and communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.

• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and autonomously.
