  • Help maintain schedules, backlogs, and action item logs under the direction of the Program Manager and in coordination with Scrum/Agile leads.

  • Make day-to-day execution decisions (e.g., task prioritization within a sprint, routing of issues, sequencing of actions) within approved plans and escalate items with broader impact to program leadership.

  • Collect status from technical and functional leads, consolidate inputs into clear updates, and highlight blockers, dependencies, and risks.

  • Manage the team to develop innovative solutions and pursue new and on contract growth opportunities based on program and customer priorities.

  • Manage work authorizations, approve timecards, track charging time against plan.

  • Manage the growth, performance and professional development of staff.

Cost, Schedule, and Reporting Support

  • Help prepare cost and schedule performance reports, including basic variance analysis and tracking of agreed corrective actions.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare and present portions of internal and external briefings, dashboards, and status reports for program and customer reviews.
  • Capture customer feedback and evolving priorities and ensure they are documented and routed to the appropriate Agile teams and leads.

Technical and Team Coordination

  • Coordinate work across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and application support teams to align schedules and dependencies.
  • Track technical action items through completion, ensuring owners, due dates, and outcomes are clearly documented.

Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management

  • Maintain risk, issue, and opportunity registers by recording new items, updating status, and tracking mitigation activities.
  • Support regular risk and issue reviews by preparing summaries, metrics, and follow-up actions.

Staff and Subcontractor Coordination

  • Assist with staffing actions such as onboarding, access coordination, and updates to staffing rosters and org charts.
  • Support routine coordination with subcontractor leads, including tracking deliverables and performance concerns.

Governance, Compliance & Data Calls

  • Follow and help enforce program management processes, configuration management, and change control procedures.
  • Support responses to internal and external data calls and reviews, including those related to contract compliance and security expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience as a project manager, task lead, or deputy/assistant PM on IT or cybersecurity contracts.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Practical experience supporting Agile or hybrid Agile programs (e.g., working with backlogs, sprints, and iterative delivery).
  • Familiarity with basic financial and program management concepts (budgets, forecasts, EACs, schedule and variance tracking).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, SAFe, CSM, or ITIL.
  • Experience supporting DISA, CESO, or other DoD cyber/IT organizations.
  • Experience with common program and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira/Confluence, ITSM platforms).
