About the role

This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Journeyman Repository Administrator to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain code and documentation repositories (e.g., Git-based platforms, artifact repositories, or knowledge repositories).

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain appropriate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) technology as part of an enterprise level site reliability planning and execution.

  • Support repository configuration, access control, and permission management.

  • Ensure proper organization, version control, and structure of repository content.

  • Assist users with repository access, usage, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Support integration of repositories with Dev Sec Ops pipelines and development workflows .

  • Maintain repository documentation, standards, and usage guidelines.

  • Monitor repository usage and identify opportunities for improvement in structure and performance.

  • Support configuration management activities, including version tracking and baseline management.

  • Assist in enforcing compliance with program standards, naming conventions, and governance policies.

  • Support backup, recovery, and archival processes for repository data.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps teams, and knowledge management personnel to support repository operations.

  • Design, build, and maintain services and products to effectively make production-ready AI/ML models accessible for customer use.

  • Perform site reliability engineering to build and maintain a reliable, scalable, and efficient System by applying software engineering principles to operational tasks.

  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline and 4–8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and2–6 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).

  • Experience supporting repository management, configuration, or system administration tasks.

  • Experience with basic scripting or automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).

  • Experience operating within SAFe or large-scale Agile frameworks supporting enterprise systems.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to support multiple users and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating repository platforms into CI/CD and Dev Sec Ops pipelines.

  • Experience supporting repositories across multi-enclave DoD environments.

  • Familiarity with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory) or data repositories.

  • Experience supporting Dev Sec Ops pipelines and CI/CD integrations.

  • Experience with configuration management tools and practices.

  • Experience supporting knowledge management or documentation platforms.

  • SAFe Agilist (SA) or related SAFe certification.

  • Relevant cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Experience with site reliability engineering and performance optimization.

  • Experience supporting automated compliance, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability remediation workflows.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
