Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Norman, OK

Work Schedule: Monday

• Friday hours will vary based on coverage needs between 6:00am to 6:00pm (overtime and rotating weekends may be required as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program from an accredited agency or 3 months’ experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
• 2 years' experience assisting all patient age groups (Pediatric
• Geriatric)

Additional Job Standards:

• Will cover sites in Norman, OK and surrounding areas (50+ miles)
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS (active Lab Corp employees are not eligible)
