Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Vancouver and Portland Metro areas.

Work Schedule: Hours vary Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 6:30 pm overtime and rotating Saturdays may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Process billing information and collect payments when required

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement

• Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range: $17.75 to $27.28 hourly

Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
