The Broadband Communications Systems (BCS) Sector of L3Harris Technologies Communications Systems segment has an opening for a Program Financial Analyst to join our BCS Melbourne area. This analyst will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, in a collaborative team setting, and will support mainly large cost-plus programs.

Essential Functions:

• Support programs consisting of cost plus award fee and fixed fee.
• Completing Sales, Profit and Cash forecasting and analysis.
• EVMS and financial reporting.
• Creation and maintenance of charge numbers.
• Support accounting data extraction and reconciliation.
• Help generate program financial artifacts such as EV reports, graphs, and analysis, as required to include customer reporting.
• Develop and present briefing of program financial status to customer.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.
• Providing financial analysis for audits and other financial activities.
• Knowing L3Harris policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with EVM, financial performance reporting, internal/customer reporting
• Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills including the capability to interface and present with internal and external customers.
• Ability to proactively solve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with moderate supervision.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with People Soft, Cobra and Hyperion.
