About the role

Working in close collaboration with PMO Stakeholders, the Procurement Manager will lead the procurement of materials and services for IMSA programs to deliver the requirement outcomes on schedule and within budget. Achieved through working collaboratively with program teams to develop and implement procurement outcomes that contribute to business growth and enhance Australian Industry Capability.

The primary remit of this role is to enable the procurement of materials and services necessary for L3Harris to deliver program requirements on time and within budget.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Defence industry experience desirable
• Demonstrated experience in development of supplier relationships, supporting customer requirements and meeting time critical deadlines
• High level of computer literacy and ability to compile reports
• Experience with and understanding of Export Controls (especially the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)) desirable
• Ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Clearance
