Job Title: ILS/LSA Engineering Senior Associate Job Location: Mirabel, QCJob Code: 36545Job Schedule: Day Shift Compensation Range: Between $62,500 - $112,500 annually Essential Functions:
With the support of the Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Team Manager:
- Perform LSA activities on either acquisition or In-Service Support (ISS) programs;
- Interface with System Engineering to provide ILS input to design and system supportability;
- Collect and analyse logistics and engineering data to perform sparing, reliability and maintenance tasks analysis, provide improvement recommendations and develop reports;
- Carry out proactive obsolescence analysis and in service health monitoring tasks;
- Record results of ILS Analysis within LSAR database;
- Perform Quality Check (QC) review of peer’s work;
- Contribute to ILS team process improvements and achievement of departmental goals;
- Promote team work, diversity and respect of L3 Core values.
Qualifications:
- Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering degree or equivalent experience;
- Minimal familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RAM), Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Obsolescence management an asset;
- Past experience (including coop terms) within Defence, Navy or Avionics industry an asset;
- Must be an analytical thinker with careful consideration for details;
- MS Office proficiency, familiarity with XML an asset;
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), English proficiency required, bilingualism an asset.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
