A Day in the Life

As a Distribution Supervisor, you are a true entrepreneur at the heart of our supply chain. You will have the autonomy to manage all activities in your area, from receiving goods to shipping orders. You won't just be an observer: you'll be encouraged to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and lead improvement projects to optimize productivity and quality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage Operations: Organize and oversee daily distribution activities (receiving, stocking, picking, shipping) to meet performance targets.
• Lead Your Team: Manage a team of 15-30 employees in a unionized environment, ensuring skill development, performance management, and a collaborative work atmosphere.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process optimization projects, track productivity metrics, and propose innovative initiatives.
• Ensure Excellence: Guarantee strict adherence to the Group's quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of initiative and recognized leadership, able to rally their team around common goals. You enjoy taking on responsibility and making things happen in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A successful first experience in team supervision, ideally in a unionized setting.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Strong autonomy and organizational skills to manage priorities.
• Solid analytical abilities to track performance and solve problems.
• Comfort with computerized environments (Excel; knowledge of a WMS like Manhattan is an asset). (Skills from the L’Oréal Skills Library)
