SENIOR RETAIL BRAND MANAGER – L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division, Ireland

As the Senior Retail Brand Manager for LDB Ireland, you will lead the "Go-to-Market" strategy for three of the most dynamic brands in the dermo cosmetics market: La Roche-Posay, Cera Ve and Vichy. This is a high-impact, operationally focused role that requires a master of execution. You will bridge the gap between Brand, Commercial, and Operations, ensuring that strategic visions are translated into flawlessly executed pre-sells and in-store excellence through advanced use of the NEO system.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Commercial & Strategic Alignment:

  • Lead monthly meetings with Key Account Managers to align on retailer-specific activations for National Accounts and the Independent Pharmacy sector.

  • Negotiate and secure premium visibility (Digital Screens, Gondola Ends) while managing the production and logistics of all POS/PLV materials.

  • Analyse the ROI of trade investments, using EPOS and consolidated data to provide clear, actionable insights for the 2026/2027 planning cycles.

Financial Stewardship

  • Manage the Trade Marketing budget for LRP, Vichy, and Cera Ve with total precision.

  • Collaborate with Finance and Pricing teams to ensure all promo forms and price points are validated and loaded into SAP/NEO correctly to prevent invoicing disputes.

NPD & Pre-Sell Planning & Execution:

  • Own the end-to-end NPD & Pre-Sell process for LDB Ireland, ensuring meticulous planning and timely execution of all seasonal and launch activities.

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to build robust promotional calendars that drive retailer sell-in and consumer sell-out.

  • Take full accountability for the accuracy of pre-sell order sheets, ensuring that pricing, barcodes, and SKU classifications (FG vs. PLV) are correct before they hit the field.

Gateway & Operations Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain a high-trust, "one-team" relationship with the Gateway team to ensure seamless stock flow and logistics.

  • Work proactively with Gateway to navigate warehouse constraints, stock allocations, and delivery timelines, ensuring that trade marketing activations are physically achievable.

  • Act as the primary troubleshooting link between Trade, Sales, and Operations during high-pressure launch windows.

NEO System Expertise:

  • Utilise the NEO system to manage pricing, product master data, and promotional loading.

  • Ensure high data integrity within NEO to prevent "downstream" issues in invoicing or warehouse processing.

  • Maintain agility within the NEO environment, managing the tighter schedules and system-led requirements to ensure no loss of proactivity in the trade process.

  • Exceptional Leadership and people management skills, with a natural ability to coach, inspire and empower your team

  • Business driven and Customer Centric mindset and can back this up with a significant track record of success in Sales Leadership

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyse data and experience of working of sell-out forecast accuracy, consistency and control

  • Financial competencies & ROI driven: Customer P&L including discounts and investment management. Comfortable in working in excel and modelling scenarios.

  • Extensive experience of building relationships across an organisation and strong stakeholder management

  • Strong planning and organisation skills with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines

  • Excellent negotiation skills that build lasting strategies and relationships

  • Strong communicator and comfortable building and adapting presentations to deliver compelling customer centric plans.

  • A solution orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity
