In this role, your day will be dynamic—analyzing market trends to capture new opportunities, driving business development to win customers, collaborating with pricing and BD teams, and building strong relationships with people, customers, and carrier partners to ensure sustainable growth.

How you create impact

You will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

  • To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
  • To align your sales efforts with Customer Care Location (CCL) Managers, Pricing + Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
  • To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
  • To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
  • To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
  • To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
  • To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers + team.
  • To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Import/Export, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Sea Logistics exposure is required.
  • Solid knowledge of foreign trade, import/export processes, customs regulations.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, time management skills.
  • Well-organized, disciplined, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good command of English.
  • An open mindset and ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and guide junior team members, experience acting as a senior or backup lead is an advantage.
