The Customer Excellence Manager has full P&L responsibility for Project Logistics Operations and Customer Service at national level. This role is accountable for delivering the highest customer service standards while achieving profitability targets, leading customer onboarding, driving continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams to execute customer and project strategies successfully. 

How you create impact

  • Ensure consistently high customer service quality across all Project Logistics operations.
  • Lead successful onboarding of new business, ensuring customer requirements and profitability targets are met.
  • Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and standardization of processes.
  • Own and manage the national Project Logistics P&L, including financial reporting and performance tracking.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve customer KPIs and service performance.
  • Build, lead, and develop independent Customer Excellence and Operations teams.
  • Act as senior escalation point for key customers and proactively resolve service issues.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through engagement, reviews, and close collaboration with Sales and stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or project logistics operations.
  • Strong background in customer service management and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management capability.
  • Experience with customer onboarding, implementation, and performance management.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across sales, operations, and support functions.
  • Structured, data-driven approach to performance, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term customer partnerships.
