Position Overview

The National Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager (Import) leads the national import sea logistics operational care structure (LCL/FCL), ensuring operational excellence and first-class service aligned with global and national sea logistics standards. This role manages Supervisors, Team Leads, and Specialists within the operation, driving process optimization, KPI performance, data quality, and compliance. The position has direct impact on operational stability, business growth, and service quality, while also leading recovery plans for underperforming operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the import function.

How you create impact

• Lead and develop the national Import Operational Care team, ensuring high performance and operational discipline.

• Manage supervisors and team leads, addressing productivity, quality, and performance gaps.

• Participate in business review meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership, highlighting risks, gaps, and improvement actions.

• Drive process optimization across Import LCL/FCL operations within the organization structure.

• Ensure operational KPIs, SLAs, and data quality targets are consistently achieved.

• Implement operational changes and continuous improvement projects.

What we would like you to bring

• 5+ years of Sea Logistics operational experience with strong Import exposure (LCL/FCL).

• Solid background in Freight Forwarding - centralized operational environments.

• Senior-level operational experience with proven people leadership.

• Experience managing supervisors and layered operational teams.

• Strong delegation, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination capability.

• Advanced knowledge of import sea freight processes, operational standards, and compliance.

• Proven track record in KPI management and continuous improvement.

• C1 English level
