Job Description:

The Programming Strategy Team supports the planning, execution, and tracking of digital video content across multiple brands and platforms. This role will be instrumental in maintaining video workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, and assisting in cross-functional collaboration. This team collaborates with teams across Condé Nast to create consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across the business.

The role is based in New York and will report to the Director, Programming Strategy, Global Central Video.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day programming operations to deliver on the team’s strategy and plans aligned with the strategic vision of Condé Nast’s video business

  • Manage the actualization of programming plans for long-form and social platforms, ensuring consistency with editorial calendars and audience strategies

  • Maintain and regularly update fulfillment trackers for video assets, ensuring all associated metadata is accurate, complete, and up to date

  • Manage and distribute incoming talent offers based on brand alignment and analytical data to key stakeholders, ensuring organized and clear communication of offers to the Talent Group.

  • Analyze incoming talent offers based on talent scale and programming strategy for all brands

  • Disburse, collect, and organize talent offers from all brands for upcoming tentpoles and send organized list of offers to the Talent Group

  • Maintain and update internal talent offer trackers for all brands

  • Participate in weekly scheduling and planning meetings, with opportunities to take a leadership role in managing agendas, timelines, and cross-team communication

  • Organize the creation of video analytics reports and decks that evaluate content performance, highlight learnings, and provide recommendations for future optimization

  • Assist with the repurposing of livestream content into platform-specific cutdowns for cultural moments and key brand initiatives

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement scalable best practices across content workflows

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within a video’s lifecycle (i.e. Production Management, Talent Group) to align workflows, surface issues, delays, etc

  • Update Conde Nast’s internal tools and tracking systems to effectively communicate programming plan updates across brands and markets

  • Collaborate with Conde Nast’s Content Planning & Practices team on prioritized cultural moments and emerging initiatives

  • While this role will run the process of decimating talent offers to the video leads that come in from TTG, gathering and organizing responses from video/programming leads and sending back to TTG; the strategic and scale check and matching elements will be taken over by video leads and their teams in brands.

  • Will work with the audio team, newly under central video & audio, to manage programming, strategy and platform tracking of all audio programming and associated video elements.

  • The role will support the Director and work with the EMEA and LATAM leads to establish programming tracking for video, social, and audio

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years of progressive program or production management experience in an entertainment or media company

  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization

  • Experience working with creative stakeholders, including gathering, providing, and implementing creative feedback effectively

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and interpersonal

  • Experience in preparing workflows and analyses, synthesizing information from varied sources, and developing documentation/presentations for all levels

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills in order to identify and implement effective solutions

  • Entrepreneurial, creative, curious, and holistic mindset; eagerness to learn and tackle new initiatives

  • Ability to track details as well as manage multiple priorities and projects at once

  • Agile and flexible to shifting priorities and partner needs

  • Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time frames in a fast‐paced environment

  • Ability to collaborate cross‐functionally and think pragmatically

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and a solutions-oriented approach

  • Familiarity with the brands and businesses of Condé Nast

  • Strong PC skills across key technical tools (i.e. Google Suite, Airtable is a plus)

The expected base salary range for this position is from $75,000 - $82,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
