Role The Customs Process Specialist will be responsible for the auditing of global import and export customs declarations for accuracy and compliance to specific customs regulations.

The audit process would also ensure the declarations were also in adherence with the customer instructions as provided by the internal stakeholders within the Kuehne + Nagel network and to ensure that all relevant documentation in retain for compliance, and to identify and implement continuous improvement for processes and training as an outcome from the auditing task.

Your Responsibilities Provide 1st

Level: Support as the initial point of contact for users of customs applications, including incident logging, categorization, and resolution of standard issues.

Deliver 2nd

Level: Support by performing advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical problems in close collaboration with the national IT team and business stakeholders.

Ensure effective communication with the Service Desk and escalate cases appropriately to maintain service continuity.

Support the integration of local customs systems and customer connections into existing applications.

Your Skills and Experience Completed vocational training as IT Specialist or equivalent qualification.

Practical experience in IT support aligned with ITIL standards.

Proficiency in handling Flatfile, XML, and Webservice interfaces/messages.

Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, Java, and SQL.Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style combined with reliability and commitment.

Strong communication skills in English.

Experience in customs clearance and logistics processes is considered an advantage.
