How you create impact

As a Contract Logistics Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse. By leading your team on the floor, you directly impact productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and company standards.

Your impact includes:

    • Leading, planning, and organizing daily warehouse operations to meet operational and customer requirements.

    • Managing shift manpower effectively, including attendance, absenteeism, sick leave, and workload allocation.

    • Allocating resources on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational continuity and productivity.

    • Driving performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) across productivity, quality, safety, and customer service.

    • Conducting daily briefings to align the team on priorities, safety requirements, and operational updates.

    • Ensuring all equipment and assets are handled and operated responsibly at all times.

    • Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, QSHE, and dangerous goods requirements.

    • Proactively identifying and resolving operational issues to prevent service disruption.

You bring strong people leadership skills, hands-on warehouse experience, and a safety-first mindset to lead operational teams effectively.

    • Proven experience in a warehouse or Contract Logistics operational role, ideally in a shift leadership or supervisory capacity.

    • Strong people management skills, including experience leading diverse and outsourced workforces.

    • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, productivity management, and KPI tracking.

    • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues on the floor.

    • Strong commitment to operational safety, compliance, and quality standards.

    • Ability to communicate clearly, lead by example, and engage teams effectively.

    • A structured and disciplined approach to planning, execution, and follow-up.
