The Capital Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the execution of maintenance equipment replacement projects and energy initiative projects across the enterprise. This role collaborates closely with divisional project managers to develop strategies, ensure alignment with approved capital plans, and drive successful project execution. The manager oversees project documentation, vendor coordination, and budget adherence, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with company standards and best practices. The Corporate Capital Sr. Project Manager exercises authority over moderately difficult to complex projects, prepares and presents return on investment (ROI) analyses, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The Capital Sr. Project Manager serves as a key partner in optimizing maintenance and energy capital spend, supporting operational excellence and sustainability goals. Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, or comparable related field experience (or equivalent field experience)
- Strong analytical skills for forecasting and data analysis
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage supply chain operations and ensure timely delivery
- Knowledge of cost-effective procurement practices and inventory management strategies

- Oversee and direct the execution of maintenance equipment replacement and energy initiative projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to approved strategies.
- Work closely with divisional project managers to develop project strategies, align priorities, and coordinate execution across divisions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure all expenditures are authorized and aligned with capital allocations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure project requirements are met, schedules are maintained, and service quality is delivered.
- Evaluate project progress against schedules, anticipate risks, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present return on investment (ROI) analyses for maintenance and energy capital investments.
- Champion process improvements, leverage technology, and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Support and train divisional project managers and team members on project management processes, tools, and standards.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Travel independently (25%).
