Job Title: Manufacturing Labor Subject Matter Expert – GBS
Band: B14/B15
Location: Mexico City, Mexico
Position at a Glance:
The Manufacturing Labor SME - GBS will join our Supply Chain Finance team in Mexico City as part of our Global Capability Center. This role will support and work directly with our local plant controllers who are based in our factories in North America. The key responsibilities include analyzing labor costs and productivity, ensuring financial and labor compliance, advising on workforce planning and developing financial strategy to support financial reports and analysis (including closing, budgeting and helping to drive plant labor productivity). In addition, the Labor SME is instrumental in understanding the financial performance of labor to provide financial recommendations with a continuous improvement mindset. This position reports to the SME Lead – GBS and indirectly into the on-shore plant controllers. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of large data set management applied to finance environment with strong analytical mind-set and attention to details, associated with a collaborative approach.

Advise leadership on how labor costs, productivity, and financial decisions intersect to impact manufacturing costs.

Calculating and managing Hours per Ton analysis with explanations for plant and executive level meetings.

Provide expert insights and support to cross-functional teams on projects involving manufacturing processes, labor, and finance.

Analyze labor-related data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve efficiency, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan, including Labor costs by projected SKU volume, bridging cost changes and preparing all applicable AOP schedules;

Review and validate financial and labor-related deliverables to ensure accuracy, technical correctness, and alignment with requirements.

Help identify and quantify savings surfaced by Continuous Improvement and Production teams in support of KHMS and Champions programs;

- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Scientist, Data Engineering or a related field;
- Experience
-
3+ years of relevant experience;

Proficient with software such as Excel (Power Pivot), Snowflake, Power Bi and ability to work with heavy data set to create, modify and ensure accuracy of complex spreadsheets;

Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is considered a plus;
