Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability & Risk Intern to support our Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) ESG and Risk & Resilience team in collecting and consolidating data, managing records, and facilitating global support requests related to our sustainability initiatives, ESG regulatory compliance requirements and supply chain risks. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us achieve our sustainability goals, including reducing our environmental impact, promoting animal welfare, and upholding human rights, as well as supporting increasing our Supply Chain resilience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting for various sustainability and Risk & Resilience initiatives
  • ESG support: support the completion of customer questionnaires and facilitate global support requests related to ESG initiatives, maintain the accuracy and integrity of our Net Zero Tracker for EPDM
  • Regulatory ESG Compliance: support on upcoming EU regulatory matters such as European Deforestation Regulation, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and Forced Labor Regulation
  • Risk & Resilience: support on data collection & follow-ups ensuring increased supply chain resilience and traceability
  • Conduct research on industry trends and emerging best practices

Interact with cross functional teams: sourcing, global ESG, risk & resilience, compliance, legal, R&D mainly

Qualifications:

Job requirements:

NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands)

  • EU/ EEA Students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period.
  • Non – EU student: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship period.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, marketing, public relations, or another relevant field.
  • You should have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

What we offer you:

  • Program start date: June 2026
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses
  • Location: Amsterdam, hybrid

Hybrid policy:

We work 60% of the week in the office and have the right to work 40% from home. However, you will still need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship.
