About the Position

We have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Material Planner. The role will primarily report into the Material Planning Senior Manager. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate must have the right attitude, be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be an excellent problem solver.

This person will have a broad range of responsibilities across all aspects of Material Planning. We are looking for someone who doesn't need any motivation to develop, a self-starter, who is hungry to continually improve Material planning & Supply chain operations. You will be working close together with various business partners in our Business units, GBS & Global Operations teams as well as cross functionally with Procurement & external suppliers.

**In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Executes Short, medium & long-term replenishment strategies for assigned materials while optimizing the balance between supply availability and inventory investment.
  • Works cross functionally with Marketing, Procurement, R&D, Suppliers, Quality and Finance teams on commercializing Material change management initiatives, ensuring material availability
  • Supports inventory reduction initiatives entailing optimization of SAP MRP parameters, total supply chain process improvement, and application of lean principles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply planning, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to align supply chain activities.
  • Analyze and optimize MRP processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Determines supplier capacity constraints and executes appropriate contingency plans to maintain supply when capacity is exceeded

**Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 4+ Years Supply Chain experience preferably within FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of S&OP, Supply and Material Planning principles.
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain & Supply Chain Planning software & tools preferred (OMP, Kinaxis, O9 or SAP APO).
  • Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
