Job Description

R&D Transformation Solutions Designer at a glance ...

The R&D Transformation Solutions Designer drives end-to-end (E2E) capability design and transformation across R&D by combining service design, systems thinking, and program delivery.

This role focuses on shaping and delivering solutions that transform the way R&D operates, across people, process, and technology, while ensuring a human-centric, inclusive, and adoption-driven approach. You will connect strategy to execution by designing holistic solutions and leading or coordinating their implementation across functions.

We value curiosity, empathy, and kindness. Both in how we design solutions and how we work with each other.

Key Ingredients:

Capability & Service Design:

  • Design and optimize end-to-end workflows and capabilities across R&D

  • Apply service design methodologies to create user-centered, scalable solutions

  • Create service blueprints, journey maps, and other design artifacts to visualize and improve end-to-end experiences

  • Translate business needs into integrated solutions across people, process, and technology

  • Help ensure alignment with broader transformation strategy and organizational goals

  • Take a holistic, systems-level view of challenges and solutions

  • Ensure solutions are grounded in real user needs through research, feedback, and iteration

  • Identify interdependencies across teams, processes, and tools

  • Ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, and integrated into the broader ecosystem

Program & Change Management:

  • Lead, coordinate or support (based on initiative scope) projects and programs from concept to implementation

  • Drive delivery of digital and non-digital solutions using Agile and hybrid methodologies

  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption

  • Balance strategic design with hands-on execution

  • Drive change management and adoption strategies

  • Engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization

  • Manage resistance and ensure alignment through clear communication and storytelling

  • Act as a bridge between business, digital, and operational teams

Recipe for Success: Apply if this sounds like you!

  • Core Experience

  • Experience in service/solution design, program management, or transformation roles

  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions across people, process, and technology

  • Experience working in cross-functional, complex environments

  • Strong systems thinking and ability to work at both strategic and operational levels

  • Solid understanding of service design and/or design thinking methodologies

  • Experience with program/project management frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or traditional)

  • Knowledge of change management principles and stakeholder engagement approaches

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills across different audiences

We recognize that no candidate will meet every requirement. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn’t perfectly match the description.
