Job Description

Objective:

The Sr Manager of FP&A & Sales Finance is responsible for leading the financial planning, performance management, and commercial finance agenda for Kraft Heinz Mexico. This role drives financial visibility, supports strategic decision-making, and ensures rigorous financial discipline across the organization.

Activities:

Develop and execute a profitable growth strategy, leveraging advanced revenue management and identifying additional levers to accelerate top-line and margin improvement, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities to accelerate progress toward 3YP.

Develop a high-performing finance team, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and ensure the organizational structure enables effective business decision-making

Act as a strategic partner to all functional areas and co-pilot for the Managing Director, providing financial guidance to support pricing, portfolio, and investment decisions; challenging assumptions and ensure financial rigor in decision-making processes while supporting key strategic initiatives, including innovation, cost optimization, and expansion plans.

Lead the governance and control of trade promotions, discounts, and commercial investments, ensuring accurate tracking, accruals, and reporting of trade spend while partnering with Sales and Revenue Management teams to optimize ROI on promotional activities.

Implement tools and processes to improve visibility and effectiveness of trade investments while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to commercial spend.

Drive automation and standardization of financial processes and reporting, enhancing use of financial systems and data analytics tools (e.g., SAP, BI platforms) while promoting best practices in financial planning and control.

Competencies (experiences/ Education):

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related

MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred

10 years of progressive experience in Finance, including FP&A and Commercial/Sales Finance

Strong experience in FMCG or consumer goods industry

Proven track record in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams

Skills (Knowledge/ Capabilities):

Technical Skills

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

Deep understanding of P&L management and drivers of profitability

Experience with trade spend management and revenue growth management (RGM)

Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP, Hyperion, Power BI or similar tools

Leadership & Business Skills

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making

Excellent communication and storytelling with data

High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
