Global Sustainability External Engagement & Reporting Manager at a glance ...

The Kraft Heinz Global Sustainability Team vision is to drive impact, at scale, for our People, our Products, and the Planet across. Ensuring resilience and driving growth for our business through tackling the tough challenges (via more informed / better decisions), embedding rigor and connectivity in the Sustainability system.

This role is designed to advance our sustainability strategy by enhancing our external engagement approach. You will translate market trends, strategic goals and regulatory requirements into business centric insights which enable development of scalable solutions that deliver tangible value to customers, products and internal leadership stakeholders. The role bridges external stakeholder engagement queries/needs, product innovation, procurement, and sustainability improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with evolving sustainability standards and expectations.

Additionally, works across the organization to develop and roll out the Standard Operating Procedures and processes required for CSRD, CSDDD and other reporting frameworks. Ensuring transparent and accurate disclosures against our external targets and customer/investor requests.

Key Ingredients: ESG Investor & NGO Relations Management 60%

  • Develop and implement a proactive strategy for external stakeholder engagement leveraging market trends, regulatory requirements and KH sustainability strategy.

  • Proactively prepares narrative for IR conversations across ESG agenda in collaboration with the central Investor Relations & Communication Team.

  • Develops position statements for key topics with support of SME’s across the organization.

  • Briefs leadership for engagements with external stakeholders.

  • Manages library of ESG case studies to support external communication as well as inspire internal organization.

  • Represents Kraft Heinz in Investor/NGO discussions and for external sustainability initiatives (e.g., WBCSD), aligning sustainability strategy, performance and portfolio assessments with evolving industry standards.

External Disclosure Readiness 40%

  • Assesses and develops Standard Operating Procedures across People, Product and Planet pillars to ensure readiness external disclosures.

  • Creates/updates KH externally facing policies with support of SME’s.

  • Captures risks & interventions across the ESG agenda related to upcoming reporting framework requirements (TNFD, TCNFD, CSDR, EUDR, ect)

a) Organize and coordinate cross functional team efforts

b) Set the ground for collaborative vision and strategy definition

  1. Able to make the complex simple and influence to create change

a) Establish collaborative operating models across functions

b) Design and implement new cross-functional processes, rituals and routines

c) Build effective tools / standardization templates across the organization

d) Manage financial budgets and tradeoffs across multiple agendas

  1. Ability to influence business decisions and lead change, including

a) Excellent communication skills (e.g. present to and communicate with senior leaders)

b) Ability to grasp and introduce innovations in the operating model (e.g. agile)

  1. Ability to collaborate and work effectively across cultures

  2. Be able to build a business case for sustainability

Work Environment & Schedule:

This position is considered a Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces. Additionally, this role requires on-site and remote working as needed to deliver objectives and in compliance with KHC policies and local legislation.

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting and standing while operating office equipment or traveling.
