Job Description
Job Title: GBS Manager, Global Project ManagementGBS Global Project Manager – Transformation Delivery The Kraft Heinz Global Business Services (GBS) organization is establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) with a team of Project Management professionals to lead high-profile, complex transformation projects while helping to facilitate successful agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery using a combination of project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing cross-functional, complex global projects and will help mature our delivery capabilities, promote alignment, and predictability through transparency and identification/coordination of dependencies and risks. You are an ideal candidate if you are highly organized and structured, have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, can work across multiple time zones, and excel in a fast-paced environment with rapid change.
Requirements:
Project Execution
- Effectively takes projects inclusive of all aspects from original concept through final implementation
- Selects and tailors the best project delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) on enterprise projects including planning, organizing, monitoring, risk management, managing budget, project closure activities, and enforcing best practices
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables as part of a consolidated project plan
- Provides structure to milestones and leads the organization to achieve them
- Structures and facilitates effective meetings and ensures a focus on achieving the necessary outcomes
- Experience managing different types of business projects (GBS Transitions, Transformation, Software Implementation…)
- Navigates group and organizational dynamics including identifying issues that may impact project outcomes and effectively works to resolve conflict leading through roadblocks, and escalating in a timely manner to ensure no surprises
Leadership
- Leads teams and manages stakeholders effectively through influence and engagement
- Efficiently identifies and removes roadblocks to project execution.
- Evokes creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas to fruition
- Models developing relationships across organization, leveraging them to work through barriers
- Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change
- Exhibits extensive knowledge of current and emerging project management practices and applies them in projects
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the project related structure of required vendors related to project outcomes
- Fosters engagement in project milestones sharing key information to achieve outcomes
Communication
- Responsible for all project communications to leadership, the stakeholder community, and the project team
- Proactively understands how and when to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Project Scoping
- Build the required project structure including concept, oversight, communication, and the team
- Identifies and works with Resource Managers to acquire necessary team members in a matrix environment
- Creates Project Charter, facilitates definition of scope, and milestone deliverables inclusive of vendor-related contracts
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with PMO, SAFe, project, program, or portfolio management
- Can do mentality and ability to transform ideas into actionable project plans
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Engineering, or related Analytical field required, MBA is a plus
- Certification in either: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma is a strong plus
- GBS Transition Management experience
- Experience with business development, solution development, project/program management, and project delivery
- Experience with PPM tools, Monday.com, Jira, MS Project, or any other is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Change Management knowledge or experience a plus
- Flexibility to adjust to new demands with a sense of urgency. Must have the ability to embrace a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with rapid change
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with global teams while maintaining focus on outcomes and/or removing barriers
- Ability to handle multiple projects, problem-solving skills, and attention to details
- A team player with energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others
- Highly proficient PC skills (specifically MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Share Point and Outlook required)
- Experienced Project Management within the Food/Beverage Industry and/or Global Business Services (GBS) organizations is a bonus!
