Group/Division
KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general ledger accounting in compliance with local GAAP (HGB), US GAAP, and internal accounting policies
- Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Reconcile, analyze, and evaluate balance sheet accounts
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including statutory fiscal year-end close
- Prepare statutory reports, including VAT returns
- Support internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiries
- Contribute to the documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Collaborate closely with local and international finance stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional, finance-related optimization projects
Minimum Qualifications
YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting within an international company
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, or completed vocational training (e.g. certified accountant)
- Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); US GAAP knowledge is an advantage
- Strong SAP skills (S/4HANA or another ERP system) and very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Open and effective communication skills
- Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on process and task optimization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
- Very good German and English language skills
- Flexible, highly motivated mindset
