Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• The selected Applications Engineer will join a dynamic team that makes a significant impact to the company every day.
• Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA’s state-of-the-art products in customer fabrication facilities. This includes investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions at our customer’s advance manufacturing facilities.
• Makes presentations on all aspects of products to KLA management and customer management.
• Assists sales manager in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specifications
• Provides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applications
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialists
• The candidate will gain exposure to Product Marketing, Business & Sales Processes.
• The candidate will undergo rigorous training on KLA’s most advanced equipment. There could be opportunities to travel and work at various KLA’s world-wide facilities and Headquarters based in Silicon Valley, USA.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related field.

• Candidate must also be self-driven, yet a strong team player to thrive in a dynamic environment.
