Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundations or higher).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud resource discovery.
• Experience with Service Now modules such as: APM (Application Portfolio Management), HAM/SAM Pro, CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Experience with API integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, or message queues.
• Familiarity with automation and DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation tools

Minimum Qualifications

Work experience of 7-10 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

• 7+ years working with Service Now CMDB in medium to large enterprises supporting 10,000 users+
• Strong understanding of: Service Now data model, CI classes and relationships, discovery patterns & probes, Service Mapping and dependency mapping
• Expertise in creating and managing data taxonomy, CI lifecycle, and inventory processes.
• Proven experience in integrating CMDB with infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint systems.
• Strong skills in data quality management, reconciliation rules, and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) best practices
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and its relationship with CMDB.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience building dashboards using Service Now Performance Analytics or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and application of AI in IT operations (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, enrichment).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive change across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
