What you’ll do:

• Understand DoP business context and objectives and translate them into:

• Functional, Non-functional, Technical, and Compliance requirements.

• Participate in business requirements gathering workshops with DoP stakeholders and other personnel.

• Define and govern architecture principles, standards, and guidelines for development, deployment, operations, and support.

• Drive, document, and maintain technology and technical decisions, including rationale, across design and deployment stages.

• Maintain end-to-end architectural visibility from business requirements through applications, infrastructure, data centres, and end users within DoP.

• Drive adoption of new and relevant technology trends aligned to DoP objectives and constraints.

• Develop and guide strategies for:

• Architecture & design

• Deployment and integration

• Data protection

• Management & monitoring

• Security & compliance

• Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and DR readiness

• User education and training

• Support BCP planning, including application criticality assessment, RTO/RPO alignment, and coordination withinfrastructure and operations teams.

• Communicate with all DoP stakeholders, including program and project sponsors, to ensure architectural alignment.

• Participate in Steering Committee meetings, presenting:

• New technology trends suitable for adoption

• Technical challenges and risks

• Proposed solutions and support required from DoP

• Advise on project course corrections where architectural or technical risks are identified.

• Provide project management inputs and support to ensure architectural compliance with timelines and deliveryobjectives.

Experience & Qualification:

Experience: 10+ years of total experience and 7 years of hands on experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, designing and implementing robust cloud solutions across various domains including Compute, storage and backup etc.

Qualification: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA or equivalent
