Office of the CTO (Sweden)
Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg (Hybrid)Team: CTO Office
The Office of the CTO is the technical "think-tank" of our organization. Based in our Stockholm or Gothenburg hubs, you will join a high-impact team responsible for defining the technical vision that keeps us at the forefront of the Swedish technology landscape.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between emerging local trends and our long-term technical strategy. You aren’t just following a roadmap—you are helping to identify the milestones that will define our success in Sweden for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Tech Scouting: Proactively analyze emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Sustainable Tech, Edge Computing) specifically within the Swedish innovation landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Innovation Insights: Distill complex technical developments into clear, high-level briefings for leadership, providing a "Sweden-first" perspective on our strategic direction.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Act as a technical ambassador to Swedish research institutes, universities, and industry partners, fostering the collaborations that drive local innovation.
- Executive Storytelling: Create compelling narratives and presentations that translate our technical vision for Swedish customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic Projects: Support the CTO leadership on high-priority initiatives that require a blend of technical curiosity and strategic thinking.
Your Profile
- Academic Background:Recently completed/graduated (graduation within the last 12 months) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Industrial Management, or a related field from a Swedish technical university.
- The "Strategic Generalist": You have a broad interest in how different technologies (Cloud, Security, Data) intersect to solve the unique challenges of the Swedish market.
- Analytical Mindset: You excel at taking "noisy" information and distilling it into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Communication: Exceptional English skills are required. Proficiency in Swedish is essential for engaging effectively with the local tech ecosystem and partners.
- Curiosity & Ambiguity: You thrive on the "fuzzy front end" of technology where the answers aren't always clear and the horizon is always moving.
