Job Description:Job Family Definition:
Responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in an engineering environment. Responsibilities may include maintaining records, specifications, drawings and other related documentation. Assisting with the preparation of ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), assisting internal and external customers in various administrative tasks such as onboarding preparations, purchase requisition issuing, event management, travel management, stationery management, logistics arrangements, etc..) directly related to the work unit’s primary function. These tasks may include, but not be limited to, assisting with researching information, assisting with analysis, compiling data for reports, coordinating work processes following work unit manager’s directions and other established administrative procedures. Coordinates work within the work unit and with other work units/departments, both internal and possibly external to the company. May assist in work for one or more professional employees other than the direct supervisor.
**Management Level Definition:
Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks. Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution. Allocates own time efficiently. Receives general instructions on all work.
**Education and Experience Required:
College education or equivalent. To adequately perform the duties of the job individuals must possess a minimum of 1- year (or equivalent) administrative experience.
**Type of Experience Needed:
Basic knowledge of the administrative methods, with some basic exposure to this function is highly preferred; and an acumen to learn the required administrative skills of the job in this function. Specific level of software skills as required by the work unit.
