Data Analyst and Automation Internships:
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our Internship Program (12 months). Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers you a highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional working environment and the chance to develop the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment. During your internship you will not only apply these skills in the IT industry, but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals. Throughout the program, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from senior managers who can help you in your future career.

Work type: Full-time or Part-time (20 hours minimum)
We are currently seeking five interns to join different areas of the business focused on data analysis, automation and optimization. You may work on any of the tasks listed below.
What you’ll do
- Support analysis and reporting across regional and global teams: prepare dashboards, produce reports, and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Automate recurring tasks and reporting processes using tools like Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, Python and SQL.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and help standardize processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise way.
- Contribute to documentation, testing and user support for new analytics tools and reports.
Who you are:
- Full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s student, ideally in your 3rd or 4th year (any analytics-related field or broader STEM/business degrees welcome).
- Strong analytical thinking with solid data-manipulation skills.
- Comfortable in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and eager to learn/build dashboards and automated workflows.
- Clear communicator in English and Slovak; additional languages are a plus.
- Able to work effectively in virtual, cross-cultural teams; attentive to detail and able to manage deadlines.
Nice-to-have skills
- Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate
- Python, SQL, VBA
- Experience with version control or sharing projects (GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Any exposure to basic programming or data visualization best practices
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership or project experience
