Job Description:Job Family Definition:
- Provides end-to-end Labor Relations (LR) support and drives program implementation across multiple businesses, functions, and geographies.
- Adapts and delivers global HR/LR policies to meet local and regional requirements.
- Acts as a strategic partner to leaders on employee relations, organizational transformation, change management, total rewards, and workforce planning.
- Ensures HR/LR programs are executed in alignment with business priorities and country-specific legal requirements.
- Collaborates across HR to deliver an integrated and consistent employee experience.
- Deploys HR/LR policies while tailoring solutions to address unique business needs, local market dynamics, and competitive pressures.
- Supports talent acquisition and partners with M&A/D (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, outsourcing) to enable successful employee integration.
- Provides expert consultation to managers on employee relations matters and workplace issues.
- Engages with internal stakeholders and external parties, including government agencies, for consultations and negotiations as required.
**Management Level Definition:
Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
**Responsibilities:
- Leads resolution of complex employee relations cases, providing expert guidance to managers and employees; escalates strategically as needed.
- Drives development and delivery of LR programs, including design of communication and presentation materials.
- Leverages employee data and insights to inform HR/LR strategies and enhance program effectiveness.
- Builds deep understanding of HR programs and business priorities to ensure aligned LR execution.
- Identifies and proactively addresses implementation risks and barriers across businesses.
- Represents HR/LR in engagements with key internal stakeholders, including labor unions.
**Education and Experience Required:
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically 2-4 years related experience in LR role or human resources functional area or HR Generalist role.
**Knowledge and Skills:
- Developed knowledge of human resources.
- Basic legal knowledge of the local environment.
- Developing business acumen.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to respond independently to moderately complex inquiries.
**Impact/Scope:
- Works across multiple units within a business or functions to ensure needs are met.
**Preference:
- Certification as a Public Labor Attorney is strongly preferred
