J.P. Morgan is seeking a talented candidate as a GenAI Enablement Specialist for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). The role sits within the CIB’s Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) and is at the Vice President level reporting into the GenAI Enablement Markets Lead. The remit is to develop the strategy for GenAI for the CIB Markets Business (Sales, Trading, QR, Research), especially around Large Language Models (LLMs), as well as responsibility for identifying opportunities and rolling out GenAI products across the CIB.

As a GenAI Enablement Specialist within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Chief Data & Analytics Office, you will be tasked with formulating the strategy for GenAI, with a particular focus on the Front Office Markets Business. You will partner closely with QR, Technology and other firmwide data science teams. Your role will also involve spearheading the implementation of JPM’s GenAI products across the Commercial and Investment Bank. You will provide insightful leadership on GenAI & LLMs to key Commercial and Investment Bank clients. This position presents a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction for GenAI adoption in the Commercial and Investment Bank’s Markets business and AI/ML adoption across the Front Office.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and deconstruct complex problems that can be solved through GenAI
  • Critically assess GenAI products and influence the product roadmap to meet Markets-specific needs
  • Identify key priority Markets use cases where GenAI can be leveraged, develop business cases, test prototypes and adoption plans
  • Provide thought leadership on Gen

AI & LLMs to key CIB clients:

  • Assimilate information and provide synthesised views for senior management
  • Identify emerging trends ahead of broader market adoption
  • Define and track success metrics/OKRs; measure impact, adoption, and ROI for GenAI initiatives.
  • Drive change management and enablement (training, playbooks) to accelerate Front Office adoption.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience with Gen

AI and knowledge of Financial Services required:

  • Prior experience in Markets (Sell-Side, Asset Management, Hedge-Fund) required
  • Significant experience with diverse problem-solving background – e.g. top strategy consulting firm, internal strategy, investment banking, private equity
  • Knowledge and understanding of AI&ML (esp. GenAI and Prompt Engineering); familiarity with LLM evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows)
  • BSc or MSc degree in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science)
  • Outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches
  • Ability to easily assimilate new information and desk specific nuances (x-asset, flow & derivatives)
  • Strong verbal/written skills; ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required
