We are seeking a motivated Product Manager, VP, to lead high-impact initiatives that modernize the firm’s job and work architecture and the skill-to-job relationship, enabling cohesive employee and manager experiences at scale.

Job Architecture & Skills is a critical function that supports a firmwide product which oversees the firm’s job and work architecture and skills taxonomy. We play a key role in supporting how our firm’s leaders should think about defining the roles within their organization, which include work and tasks, skills required, and responsibilities at the role levels. This structural work empowers the firm to deliver meaningful value across the end-to-end talent ecosystem. This includes key experiences across talent covering workforce agility, learning, compensation, recruiting, and more.

You’ll operate within Employee Experience Product Organization within HR to translate strategy into outcome-based roadmaps for a defined sub-domain, balancing delivery velocity, quality, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction. You combine strong product management skills, analytical rigor, and structured problem solving with a passion for creating intuitive, scalable experiences for employees, managers, HR partners, and senior leaders across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver on major workstreams and execution plans for a portfolio of capabilities within the jobs and skills domain, with measurable targets and risk management.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities in job architecture, skills taxonomies, and talent management.
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle activities across discovery, requirements, solution design, delivery, and value realization, driving reusability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback alongside internal and market data to drive continuous improvement in the jobs and skills domain.
  • Coordinate and execute job architecture updates, including job code changes across HRIS and related platforms.
  • Partner with business, technology, product, data, design, legal, regulatory, and operations to design, build, and launch tools, frameworks, and platforms that streamline architecture updates and skills mapping.
  • Set clear goals and OKRs; proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies; own product performance and invest in enhancements to meet objectives.
  • Communicate vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels; operate effectively in a complex, rapidly changing, and regulated environment.
  • Develop and refine methodologies that streamline job architecture implementations, skills inference capabilities, supply vs. demand talent matching, and integration to the end-to-end talent ecosystem
  • Advance a self-service model to keep jobs and skills architecture current and consistent over time.
  • Introduce AI-enabled solutions that improve employee, manager, and HR experiences, driving efficiency and reducing operational risk.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • 5+ years of product management experience leading strategy and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle; demonstrated experience with technical and experience design; strong analytical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to define and maintain a product backlog, present to stakeholders, and write stories and epics to partner across engineering, data, and design.
  • Proven deep empathy and understanding in furtherance of creating frictionless end-to-end experience partnering with engineering, design, and data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with structured and unstructured data to drive decisions, define metrics, and measure impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including meeting facilitation and workshop leadership with senior stakeholders; strong documentation and brief-writing in the jobs and skills domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and track OKRs and KPIs to measure success and optimize strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain experience in job architecture, job design, and skills strategy; HR data and analytics; workforce planning and agility.
  • Knowledge of HCM platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM) and related HRIS systems.
  • Experience in integrating AI technologies into product development, with a focus on improved end user experiences and driving efficiencies while reducing operational risk
  • Preferred experience supporting global products and requirements within a globally matrixed, regulated organization with a proven ability to represent and navigate across senior executives across functions
  • Analytical acumen, with the ability to derive insights from data sets to help drive strategy and experience
